We asked Tim Day to act as our agent in the sale of our cottage in Pettistree, which was successfully sold in March 2021. From our initial meeting with Tim the whole process was handled with care and sensitivity and we feel we made a wise choice. Two words that spring to mind when reflecting on how Tim works are communication and enthusiasm. Tim was always available when necessary, dealing with queries quickly and accurately. Technical queries were promptly addressed and buyers’ questions were clearly answered. The quality of information produced by Suffolk Coastal was highly professional and attracted a steady stream of prospective buyers, all of whom were accompanied to the cottage. Throughout the process of finding my next home, Tim and his team at Cutler & Bond provided a sterling service. Tim is one of the most professional estate agents you are likely to meet; a pleasure to deal with, utterly helpful – even providing updates on a Sunday, and really knowledgeable too. He also listens to what type of property you want rather than pushing something on the books which isn’t appropriate, will also listen to any concerns and do his utmost to sort. He went above and beyond duty when he speeded up the exchange and completion process and provided great communication despite unnecessary delays from the lawyers! I would definitely instruct Tim if I sell my home or indeed purchase another property in the future.

My husband and I had a handful of days to spend together looking for a flat in London recently, and we instructed Tim Day to represent us as a buyer. We had found Tim Day’s company previously and set out our basic requirements through one meeting and email. Within 2 hours of getting off the plane, Tim had us sorting through a stack of listings and in his car off looking at properties. Tim knows his neighborhoods thoroughly and understands the market conditions implicitly. By the end of the 3rd day, we had found our new flat and successfully negotiated a deal with the owner; he also helped us navigate the English real estate rules and helped us locate other support services we would need to make our flat a success. I can’t imagine our being able to make this happen without Tim’s help and support. His expertise and relationships are comprehensive: an encyclopedic knowledge of West London, relationship with many peer brokers, negotiation and communications skills and the energy to make the whole "package" effective. Although Tim acted for us as a buyer, we can see and recommend him equally as a sellers representative.
